I was born and raised in Plainville, Massachusettes. I've always had a love for the ocean. I magically stumbled upon this area of Nova Scotia in I974. I refer to this area as the Mystical Hidden Jewel.  I am a goldsmith by trade and I'm known for creating the Hidden Jewel Gift Shop formerly know as Canadian Sterling Jewelry & Gifts. I incorporated Mystic Coast Realty in 1996. I've walked every square inch of this shore and it's time to let the truth be known. My time offs were almost always spent exploring the warm salt water beaches or the miles of tidal rivers that flow inland feeding a myriad of birds, mammals and vegetation. It's a town of 770 people. A fishing village to some and a wishing village to others. I often refer to this area as the place that dreams come true. So watch out what you wish for, I say. These natural water ways are home to the bald eagle, osprey, great blue heron, Canada geese, ducks of all kinds, cormorants, gulls and many more delightful birds. We get visits from whales, seals, leather back turtles, salmon, gaspereux, striped bass, mackerel, herring, smelts, flounder, lobster, sea trout, sea bass, and occasionally a mermaid I'm told. These warm waters create a playground that is better than anything or anywhere I have lived or travelled. Pugwash has a deep sheltered harbour that is ideal for sail and powerboats, canoe or kayak. There are two marinas at which to dock. There is also a fisherman's wharf and a government wharf which is used by freighters to haul salt and lumber. From the Pugwash Yacht Club or the Brickyard Marina you can access the open ocean, the protected harbour or explore one of three inland tidal rivers. All the water ways are friendly and usually calm. I've lived on Cape Cod, Massachusettes and I often refer to this area as the Cape Cod of Canada. The only profound difference is that you have the space to enjoy the quiet natural beauty that only occurs when the land meets the sea undisturbed.

I have lived in Oxford, N.S. my whole life only leaving when necessary for education or work, I always seemed to arrive back, until the last time when I settled with my wife and family and made it my permanent home. I have been in the sales business with most of my employment endeavors, starting with the office equipment field, moving into the plant and flower trade until I decided to start my own business. For the 6 years I successfully ran the Kwik Way on the corner of Main St. and Water St. in Oxford, N.S.  Here I have gained a better understanding of business while incorporating many different businesses into my community store. I was committed to doing well in what I chose, spending long hours during evenings and weekends to maintain the business. This commitment is what the real estate industry looks for, with my personable manner and dedication to my community I feel I am an  asset to the real estate field and to you as the customer I am serving. I can be reached at home or in the office.
